Facebook Adds “Listen” Button to Artists, Bands, Musicians Pages

Facebook combines one of the best features MySpace had; music discovery. The new “Listen” button has just been added to bands and artist pages on Tuesday making users have an easier and faster experience in discovering music. The “Listen” experience is made possible through music services such as Spotify and MOG on Facebook. The new feature is currently available on most Artist/Band pages.
The “Listen” button is located near the “Like” and “Message” button on artists’ pages. When activated users will be connected to the music service they most frequently use, if it’s their first time users will be asked for app permission. “Listen” currently plays 5 of the most popular songs of the artist. The music services are also directly connected to Facebook Timeline; any activity regarding listening to an artist will be published on Timeline.
When you click on the Listen button, a song starts playing from the given artist. If you don’t have the given social music app, you’ll be asked to install it. There are two options: a blue “Okay, Listen to Music” button and a standard “Close” button.
Here are some of the artists with “Listen”:

Justin Bieber's Official Facebook Page
